Clients considering building works and prior to works starting

Complete the initial application form informing us what works you require, this will include uploading photographs of your property onto the web site and a brief description of requirements and sizes.

We will then provide you with:

  • Standard specifications for works
  • Information on how to obtain competitive prices
  • Give you an idea of prices based on measurements given.
  • Provide advice on returned prices from your builders

 

All of which will be presented in a Building Advice Bureau report, emailed and a hard copy sent via post.

 

Clients in the process of construction works

Complete the initial application form informing us what works are being carried out and by whom, and upload photographs of key areas onto the web site, along with any areas of concern that you may have. We will also require details of how the works were agreed between you and your builder, and how much you have already paid / total cost of works. The quotation from the builder will also need to be forwarded.

We will then provide you with:

 

  • Standard specifications for works
  • Advice on how the works are progressing
  • Comment on the quotation from the builder in respect of value for money
  • Comment on the quotation from the builder in respect of specification of works and what you are receiving for the cost
  • Give you an idea of standard industry prices based on measurements given
  • Comment on the quality of the works and any areas of concern we may have.

All of which will be presented in a Building Advice Bureau report, emailed and a hard copy sent via post.

As we are part of a larger national group, we can also offer a follow up on site inspection service at an additional fee.

Clients when construction works are complete

Complete the initial application form informing us what works have been carried out and by whom, and upload photographs of the works onto the web site, along with any areas of concern that you may have. We will also require details of how the works were agreed between you and your builder, and the total cost of works, details of any guarantees given, as well as the original quotation and final invoice from your builder.

We will then provide you with:

 

  • Comment on the original quotation and final invoice from the builder in respect of value for money
  • Give you an idea of standard industry prices based on measurements given
  • Comment on the visual quality of the works and any areas of concern we may have, with remedial action suggested
  • Provide a standard specifications for works
  • Offer advice on the areas of concern you may have and the options you have to rectify them

 

All of which will be presented in a Building Advice Bureau report, emailed and a hard copy sent via post.
